Russian Actress Anna Ardova loves Indian Yoga and Panchakarma treatment
Udupi: Anna Ardova a Russian film actress, known predominantly for her work in the Russian film industry visited Udupi district for Ayurveda treatment for rejuvenation, refresh herself and to regain her youth.
Anna Ardova is regarded as one of the finest actress of Russia, noted particularly for her excellence in acting.
She is known for her work in films like Vysotsky: Thank God I’m Alive (2011), Snow Queen (2012) and All Inclusive 2(2011) and many more. She was also awarded the Best leading woman role for her performance in a comedy program in the year 2010.
While returning to Russia she interacted with the Udupi media persons and said, “This is my first visit to Udupi. I was thinking of coming to Udupi since many years. But work and circumstances didn’t allow me to come to Udupi, now my dream has come true. I admire the ancient culture of India”.
When asked about Indian television and programmes here, she said, “When I was a child I was running to the cinema to watch Indian movie as it was famous in Russia, I love Indian movie. I would like to play roles in Indian televisions. I also like Indian Sari and dancing”.
Talking about Udupi Anna Ardova said, “I have attended many lectures at the Indian Embassy in Russia regarding Yoga and Pachankarma Therapy by Dr Tanmay Goswami where I find out about Udupi and this beautiful place. Some years ago I suffered from Pancreatitis; one of my best friend brought me to India for a Ayurveda course for 3 months which did magic and my pancreatitis was cured”.
When the media persons questioned her on the treatment she received, she replied saying, “I took 10 days treatment here in Udupi. I never had in my life such an amazing treatment and rest; I wish I could come here next time for some more days. Panchakarma and Yoga treatment is good for those who are in the field of cinema. Because people working in such a field undergo severe stress so they need to have Ayurveda treatment and rest to normalize their mental health.”
When asked about the future of Ayurveda health and tourism for Russia and also from other countries to India, she said that India being a spiritually beautiful country it is one of the best place for tourism. When you consider Ayurvedic Health tourism India is Guru of Ayurveda to the world, Ayurveda is not just for physical health it is also a healing for mental health so it is very important.
“While returning from India I would like to give the message to the people that, Let’s be friends with India and come visit each other. We come in winter season to India, you come to us in summer season”.
