‘Sack Siddu, Make Parameshwar CM to Save State Congress’- Poojary
Mangaluru: Couple of weeks ago, even in spite of High command requesting Senior Congress leader Janardhan Poojary not to criticize CM Siddaramaiah in the public, that hasn’t stopped Poojary from doing so. Lashing at CM Siddaramanna (as Poojary calls him?) and PM Narendra Modi, adressing the media persons during a press meet held at Mangalore Press Club, Poojary said, ” Our state congress still has the chance to retain its power , unless our present CM Siddaramanna is replaced by energetic and dynamic G Parameshwara, the present Home Minister, at the earliest. Citizens of our state are not happy with the present administration, so we need to act quick for a change- and I mean it”
” We all know in the recent elections in few states, BJP has won big time, and it seems like they are soaring in the sky, and they are not looking below. PM Modi is making a big deal about the success in the just concluded elections, boasting of having won a large number of seats. In 1985, Ragiv Gandhi’s Congress party had won 411, while recently Modi’s party won only 282- but Rajiv Gandhi didn’t boast about getting so many seats, and never made any big speeches. But in the case of Modi, it is different- he has the knack to speak and he can convince anyone through his speeches that’s a plus point of Modi. Even Rahul Gandhi nor any politicians can neat PM Modi in delivering good speeches. Modi’s speeches prior to the election in UP and other states brought good results, where people believed in his promises” added Poojary.
Poojary further said, ” I had a strong feeling that when Modi took over as PM that he would bring lots of changes, but unfortunately only changes that he brought was the demonetization of old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 bills. None of his assurances have been materialized, but he still keeps on talking in making India great. He promised to bring back all the black money stored in Swiss Banks, but that never happened. Modi, if he the guts should go to Switzerland, meet the people there, convince them, even offer them money so that they will transfer the money back to India”
“Regarding the results in Goa, the congress leaders there didn’t follow the right procedures after the election results were announced. Even the apex court took the Goa Congress to task for not presenting its numbers or affidavits, and not opposing the Goa governor’s invitation to the BJP to form the government. Now the SC has decided to do a floor test on this issue on March 16, we’ll have to see what would be the outcome of this decision. Even though Goa Congress leaders blamed the leadership for “handing over the government” to the BJP on a “platter” by delaying the naming of the legislature party leader, and I don’t think it would help out. But I can 100% say that Modi will not win the 2019 election- and if Rahul, Gandhi wins and becomes a PM, he will be a strong and trustworthy figure- and I mean it.”
