Sahyadri College Women’s Weightlifting Team emerges as State Level Champions

Mangaluru : In the VTU 20th inter-collegiate weight lifting competition held at Sri Sai Ram Institute of Technology, Annekal, Bengaluru, Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management Women’s weight lifting team emerged as Sate Level Champions, bagging medals in the following categories.

• Deeksha P won 1st place in 49 kg category • Ann V. Mariya won second place in 55kg category • Vaishnavi D. K. won 1st place in 59 kg category • Swathi won 1st place in 64 kg category. Furthermore, Deeksha P., Vaishnavi D.K., Swathi and Namrasha N. Ganiga have been selected for All India Inter University Weightlifting competition.
