Sahyadri, Mangaluru has been given the status of 12(B) of UGC act 1956 by University Grant Commission Government of India
Mangaluru: Sahyadri is one among the few colleges of the State who have been recognized by the Apex Body of Government of India. With this recognition, Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, Mangaluru has become eligible to receive Central assistance grants for projects, funding for students and faculty for overall development of the Institute and in higher education.
Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management is now declared fit to receive Central assistance in terms of Rules framed under Section 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956.
Faculty & Students can now also receive UGC’s support with respect to projects related to technical education & Management. This recognition is based on infrastructure facilities available in the college and also the quality of education imparted to the students.
