Saint Anthony’s Ashram Jeppu Annual Feast-Second Day of Novena
Mangaluru : Saint Anthony’s Feast -second day of the novena held at St Anthony’s Ashram Chapel, Jeppu on June 01, 2019. Fr Roshan Osmond D’Souza the Asst Director of the Institutes offered the Holy Mass for the intention of leaders.
In his homily he highlighted the quality of leadership. The leadership quality demonstrated by Lord Jesus is that of service. St Anthony in his life time served the poor after the example of Jesus. If he wanted he would have become a wealthy man as he came from a wealthy family. But he chose to follow Jesus and serve the poor, he said. He also called on the participants to pray for all those who serve people in their various capacities either in the Church or in the society.
Fr Onil D’Souza, the Director of the Ashram recited the chaplet and the rosary. Fr Thrishan D’Souza the Asst Director conducted the novena. Hundreds of devotees participated in the devotion.
