Samarasyada Nadige Sauhardatheyedege Jatha Inaugurated at Farangipet
Mangaluru: The Samarasyada Nadige Sauhardatheyedege Jatha was inaugurated at Farangipet here on December 12.
Noted film actor Prakash Raj, former minister Amarnath Shetty along with Minister Ramanath Rai inaugurated the Jatha by releasing balloons in the air.
Addressing the gathering Minister Ramanath Rai said, “Some anti-social elements in our district are trying to spoil the peace harmony in the society. Our aim is to maintain harmony, peace and brotherhood in the society. We have organized this Jatha from Farangipet to Mani. Let this Jatha bring all of us together and let peace, harmony and brotherhood prevail in our district. Let us see that the traffic is not disturbed during the Jatha.”
Minister U T Khader, MLA J R Lobo, former minister Abhaychandra Jain, Chief Whip Ivan D’Souza, MLA Shakuntala Shetty, former MP Ibrahim, Former CPI(M) MLA Sri Ram Reddy, Muneer Katipalla, Kanachur Monu, Siddanagowda Patil, V K Kukkyan, District Congress President Harish Kumar, Chandraprakash Shetty, Mamatha Gatti, Padmashekhar Jain, Sadashiv Bangera, P V Mohan, Babu Bhandary, B Narayan, Vasudev, Ravikiran Punacha, Chandu L and others were also present.
The Jatha will culminate at Mani where programme will be held on the Navoor Harish Poojary stage.
