Mumbai, Aug 6 (IANS) Choreographer Sandip Soparrkar has been roped in as the Indian brand ambassador of cube sport company Speed Cubing Mumbai Unlimited (SCMU).
Sandip has associated himself with the company, which is a group of speed cubers from Mumbai, to lend his star power in promoting it in India.
“I am having a great time, I feel honoured that SCMU asked me to represent them as their brand ambassador. Cubing is a fantastic sport which sharpens not just the mind but even develops the motor movements in a person. It is an amazing sport for kids as well as adults and I am glad that I have been chosen as the face of the brand,” Sandip said in a statement.
The choreographer, who has worked for films like “Zubeidaa”, “Kites” and “7 Khoon Maaf”, also shared that cube is just not a toy, and that it’s a complete sport in itself.
“Cube is not just a hobby for kids, it can be helpful for working professionals too to tackle everyday challenges in life and a great stress buster,” he added.
SCMU head Girish Bhatia commented that Sandip got addicted to speed cubing through his cuber son Arjun, who shares a similar passion and wants to take speed cubing to a greater level.
“We are proud to announce our association with Bollywood’s ace choreographer Mr. Sandip Soparrkar as our brand ambassador. I was cubing since 2011, and wanted cube competitions to happen in India, but there was no one to take cubing seriously,” Girish said in a statement.
