Santhosh Nayak Missing Case, skeletal remains found at Pernankila
Udupi: Hiriyadka Police have intensified the probe into the missing case of Santosh Nayak of Kudi Village who is now said to be murdered by rowdy sheeter Praveen Kulal who was killed in Hiriyakda last month. The missing case which was registered on December 2 by Santosh’s wife Sumitra Nayak alleged that Praveen Kulal had kidnapped and murdered her husband.
Santosh was missing since he dropped his wife and children to Badagabettu. Some miscreants had entered into Sumitra Nayak’s house searching for money but when they did not find anything there, they had forced Sumitra to accompany them in her husband’s car. Then a person calling himself as Praveen Kulal threatened of harming her husband if he did not settle his financial dues. Later they forcibly took her gold ornaments warning her to settled their dues.
On December 19, Praveen Kulal was murdered but Santosh Nayak was still missing. Later Sumitra Nayak was informed that some bones were found near Pernankila. Since Santosh has not yet returned Sumitra alleges that her husband is murdered.
The Hiriyadka police have registered a case and investigation is on.
