Sapno Ka Saudagar Modi Should Break Silence and clarify on Corruption, Employment and Farmers – Anand Sharma

Mangaluru: “The Assembly elections are nearing and Prime minister Narendra Modi is further exposing himself as a Pradan Prachar Mantri of BJP which he has been from 2013. He has sold dreams, hopes and perhaps created a world record of a head of the government who has become a habitual peddler of untruths and lies. People have seen movies in which dreams were sold, when we were young we have seen a film Sapno ka Saudagar. Sri Narendra Modi is the Sapno Ka Saudagar that he stands exposed, he has lost credibility, he has betrayed the people of India. There is a saying If you cant trust take it with a pinch of salt but what Narendra Modi says you should take it with a fistful of salt. Because the burden what he is saying is mounting and will not stop. People in the country are fed-up. Modi should come to Karnataka to apologise with the people for making false promises and not ask votes”, said the former Union Cabinet Minister in-charge of Commerce and Industry and Textiles and Deputy leader of the opposition in Rajya Sabha Anand Sharma in a press meet held at the DCC Office, Mallikatta here on May 4.

Addressing the mediapersons Anand Sharma said, “Corruption is rampant, women are not safe, unable to create employment, he has cheated the farmers and under Narendra Modi’s leadership new entrepreneurs have emerged. There are allegations on BJP leaders but they are not bothered. That is the big difference between the Indian National Congress and BJP even for the unsubstantiated charges levelled against any of the leaders, the Congress has acted promptly. Four years down the line the country has seen what the BJP and RSS said was false. The PM did not do any investigation against the BJP leaders as there was the mining scam, from Rajasthan to Chattisghar, the newspapers published the name of BJP leader’s son but no action has been taken. I request the prime minister to share the business model since he did not create any jobs to our youth but let them be entrepreneurs like Amit Shah’s son. PM Modi is giving wrong advise to the youth to sell Pakoda’s instead of creating jobs for them. Young people are educated and they believe in PM Modi.”

Anand Sharma further alleged that Prime minister Modi is thinking that there are two constitutions, one for his leaders and another for the opposition leaders. He has misused the agencies to take action against the opposition leaders. His foundations are lies, deceit, forceful blames and propaganda. He does not see the ground reality, he is intolerant of criticism. Besides he has centralized decision making. We have 130 crore people in this country and our country has unity in diversity but we have only two intellectuals in the country they are Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. Both are making the people fools and project themselves as Saints which is an insult for Sadhus and Saints. “I request the Prime minister to break his silence and talk on corruption, employment and farmers. Why the farmers’ loan has not been waived. Today they have released the manifesto and mentioned that they will waive the loan. In four years how many police stations for women were started in cities, districts, starting from the national capital? Modi is coming to Mangaluru and delivering speeches praising the banks. Today people have no faith in the banking system because Modi’s friends have looted the banks. This is the time to give the account and not blame Rahul Gandhi. In 2019 there will be a grand respectful send off to Narendra Modi. We would have made Narendra Modi sit in the Bullet train and sent him to Ahamadabad in 2019 but his dream of bringing bullet train is not fulfilled.”

DCC President Harish Kumar, AICC National Media Panelist Jaiveer Shergill and Suresh Shetty were also present.
