SCDCC Bank to open 3 more branches in Twin Districts
Mangaluru: “The SCDCC Bank has a history of 104 years. The Bank serves the people of the rural areas and is known as a people’s friendly bank. At present we have 102 branches, to mark the 105th anniversary of the bank, we are opening 3 more branches in Puttur, Udupi and Damaskatte,” said the president of SCDCC Bank Dr M N Rajendra Kumar in a press meet held at the bank premises, Kodialbail here on March 15.
Addressing the media persons Dr Rajendra Kumar said, “On March 20 the 103rd branch will be inaugurated at the Sri Rama Soudha Darbe Puttur. Puttur MLA Shankuntala Shetty will inaugurate the branch and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel will inaugurate the Digital section of the bank. The 104th branch will be inaugurated on March 22at the Hegde Complex Udupi by minister Pramod Madhwaraj and the 105th branch will be inaugurated on March 26 at Damaskatte by former minister Abhaychandra Jain.”
Dr Rajendra Kumar further said, “During the inaugural programme we have special prizes for our customers. We have already started the fixed deposit collection for all the three new branches. Those who open the account with more than Rs 2000 and deposit more than Rs 25000 for more than one year will be eligible for the lucky draw. The first prize will be 4 grams of gold coin and the second price 2 grams gold coin.”
Dr Rajendra Kumar also said, “We have special prizes for the customers who take part in the inaugural programme. During the programme, there will be a draw and the lucky coupon winners will get gold coins of 4 grams and 2 grams as the first and second prize for the winners.”
