Kundapur: A 65-year-old man who was alone in his house at Navunda near Byndoor was found murdered on Saturday March 19.
The deceased has been identified as Madhava Poojary resident of Navunda.
According to primary reports Udupi SP Annamalai said that thieves entered Madhava Poojary’s house on March 18 night and searched for gold and cash. When Madhava Poojary objected them, they assaulted him with a wooden log and killed him.
Byndoor Police along with the dog squad and finger print experts rushed to the spot. A case has been registered in Byndoor Police Station.
