Serial Shootout Case: Another aide of Kali Yogish Arrested
Mangaluru: The CCB police have succeeded in arresting one more associate of underworld don Kali Yogish in the serial shootout case on March 14.
The arrested has been identified as Mohammed Hanif alias Mohammed Ali alias Munna (35), from Kurudapadav, Paivalike Kasargod.
According to the police, Mohammed was involved in the serial shootout case and was absconding ever since.
On March 2, the CCB police arrested Dinesh in the same case and they continued their search for the other accused. Mohammed was involved in the shootout case at Sanjeev Textiles Carstreet.
Mohammed was directly in contact with Kali Yogish and is involved in various crimes in Dakshina Kannada and Kasargod. Ten cases have been registered against him including an attempt to murder and threat to life in the Barke police station.
After being released from jail on bail, Mohammed was absconding and the court had issued a warrant against him. In 2017 after his release from jail, a case was registered against him in the Kumble police station for his involvement in extortion with a threat to life. In Kerala too he was absconding without appearing before the court.
The operation was carried out by the CCB police inspector Shantharam, PSI Shyam Sundar, Kabbalraj and team.
