Serial Theft in Kundapur, Valuables worth Rs 2 Lakh Stolen
Kundapur: In a serial theft on May 10 night near the Kundeshwar Temple in Kundapur cash, gold, and valuables worth 2 lakhs and important documents were stolen.
According to police sources, thieves broke into the office of JCB Sales and Service Company through the front door. They broke open cupboards and looted Rs 1.5 lakh in cash. Later they entered nearby bank managers and another house and took away Gold and silver items. Both house owners had gone on vacation. The incident came to light on the morning of May 11 when the JCB Sales and Service Company owners came to open their shops.
The Kundapur Police visited the spot along with a canine squad and fingerprint experts.
A case has been registered in the Kundapur police station and the investigation is on.
