Seven Centre For Advanced Learning (CFAL), Mangaluru Students Clear the UGEE conducted by IIIT, Hyderabad

Mangaluru : 7 CFAL students shine bright as they clear the Undergraduate Engineering Entrance Examination (UGEE) conducted by IIIT, Hyderabad. They now advance to the interview round to be held in early June. The celebrity students are Shravan Singh Mehra, Ankush Moger, Samarth Bhat, S Muralimukunda Bhat, Govind R Shekar, Rajath Rao K.N. and Reeve Rocky D’Souza.

The International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H) ranks amongst the 5 top colleges in the country for Computer Science Engineering and offers challenging academic programmes, at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, which encourage students to not only excel in course work but also carry out research in a chosen specialization.

About UGEE:The UGEE is conducted by IIIT Hyderabad for admission to 5-year B.Tech + MS Dual Degree programmes at IIIT Hyderabad. Students who apply for admission via the UGEE mode appear for an exam and are shortlisted for interviews based on the exam performance. The qualified students (found suitable in the interview) are ranked based on their interview performance, as judged by the interview panel. This program is for motivated students who want to go beyond routine IT jobs and do some research. Students admitted to these programs start research training from their 3rd year and write a thesis by the 5th year.
