Seventy-five Persons Test Positive For Coronavirus in DK on July 4
Mangaluru: According to the district health bulletin, seventy-five persons have tested positive for the Coronavirus and three persons have died of COVID-19 in Dakshina Kannada district on July 4.
Out of the seventy-five positive cases, eleven persons had returned from UAE and Muscat. Twenty-five persons had contracted the disease from primary and secondary contacts.
Twenty-nine are suffering from influenza-like illness (ILI). The health officials are tracing the contacts of three others.
On July 4, a 65-year-old woman from Kuloor, a 67-year-old man from Kodikal and a 60-year-old woman from Sullia died of COVID-19 at the Wenlock COVID hospital.
All the Seventy-five persons have been shifted to the designated COVID hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, thirteen persons were also discharged from the hospital after complete recovery.
