Sharjah Ruler’s son passes away in UK
A young UAE royal has passed away on Monday.
According to a statement issued by the Ruler’s Court of Sharjah, Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qassimi, son of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, passed away on July 1, 2019 (Shawwal 28, 1440 Hijri) in the United Kingdom.
The Court expressed its deepest condolences to the Ruler of Sharjah, the family of the deceased and members of Al Qasimi family, praying to Allah to rest his soul in Paradise.
Sharjah has declared a three-day morning period during which UAE flags will be flown at half mast, effective from the arrival of the deceased’s body.
The arrival date of the body and funeral prayer will be announced later.
