Shirva: Final Journey of Fr Mahesh Begins
Udupi: The mortal remains of Fr Mahesh (36) have been brought to the Shirva Church on October 15.
Fr Mahesh died on October 11 and his body was kept in the Manipal hospital Mortuary.
Earlier in the day, the body was taken to his parent’s house and then brought to the Shirva Church.
Shirva Parishioners, students and staff of Don Bosco School gathered in the church premises to pay their final respects to Fr Mahesh.
Former Urban development minister Vinay Kumar Sorake also visited the Church to pay his final respect to the departed soul of Fr Mahesh.
The funeral mass will begin at 3:30 pm at the Shirva Church.
