Shobha Karandlaje should apologize for defaming Roshan Baig
Udupi: Udupi-Chickmagalur MP Shobha Karandlaje should publicly apologize for levelling baseless allegations linking RSS activist Rudresh murder case to Minister Roshan Baig said president of Karnataka Muslim Parishath Hamid Kandaka. He was addressing a press meet at Udupi here on November 7.
Hamid Kandaka further said, “Shobha Karandlaje is levelling baseless allegation against Roshan Baig as part of her political campaign for upcoming assembly polls in Karnataka. There is no connection to Roshan Baig and murder of RSS activist Rudresh. Shobha is speaking without any evidence which shows that she is defaming Roshan Baig to gain political mileage. The people of Karnataka state are living in peace and prosperity, Shobha Karandlaje is known for spreading rumours during sensitive conditions to promote communal harmony”, he added.
He requested the people to not to pay heed to the baseless rumours spread by Shobha and her party members as they just aim to gain political mileage.
Leaders of KMP Kasim Barkur, Ilyas Kaup, Jayan Malpe and others were present.
