Shop Owner Assaulted by Group in B C Road
Mangaluru: Miscreants barged into a shop at around 10:00 pm and assaulted the owner of the shop at B C Road here on July 4.
The injured has been identified as Sharath (30) son of Taniyappa from Kadoor, Sajipa Munnur. He is running a Laundry at B C Road.
According to sources, on July 4, at around 10:00 pm, a group came on motorbikes and barged into Uday Laundry at B C Road. While Sharath was closing his shop and coming out they attacked him with weapons. Injured Sharat was rushed to a private Hospital in Thumbay and later shifted to a hospital in Mangaluru.
Even though Section 144 is in force in Bantwal and police force is deployed, such an incident taking place has created fear among the people.
SP Sudheer Kumar Reddy, Additional SP Vishnuverdhan, DySP Ravish and other police officers visited the spot for investigation.
