Mangaluru: Shreyas Padil (26), who is one of the accused in the infamous homestay attack of 2008 and who is currently on bail, was assaulted by a group with swords in Jalligudde-Bajal on Friday.
He is a resident of Kallakatte in Bajal. He is also facing a few cases registered in rural police station earlier.
In Friday’s assault, among others, Pratap, Mithun, Dinesh and Kaushik have been named as accused. Shreyas has been admitted to a private hospital in Kankanady.
A case has been registered in the rural police station.
