Siddaramaiah is a tenant in Congress, Some wear Raincoat and Siddaramaiah Wears a Jacket while having bath – MP Nalin
Mangaluru: The operation has failed and the Patient (government) is lying in the ICU. Within 2 months more than 15 MLAs will resign from the Congress party and join the BJP bringing an end to the Congress government. While Siddaramaiah was in JD(S), he was cursing the Congress party, but when JD(S) did not give importance to him, he found shelter in the Congress. Now he is a tenant in the Congress. One day or the other when the tenancy contract ends, Siddaramaiah should leave. Siddaramaiah will finish the congress party, he will hit the last nail in its coffin”, said MP Nalin Kumar Kateel during a protest held against the Congress government in front of the DC office here on February 20.
Addressing the protesters MP Nalin said, “We can ask for reasons why the Congress leaders will resign and join the BJP because Siddaramaiah had assured to fight against corruption and without sleeping, he started his agitation in the Vidhana Soudha and people believed in him. But now in the four years of Siddaramaiah’s government, he has enjoyed all the facilities. Senior congress leaders predict that Chief minister Siddaramaiah will finish the Congress party. If senior leaders predict such a fate for the Congress, then there is no need for the BJP to say anything. Congress party leaders themselves say that there is corruption in state government. Recently Prime Minister Modi had said some are having bath wearing the raincoat, I think Siddaramaiah is wearing a Jacket while having bath since the corruption is not having any effect on him”.
MP Nalin also stressed and said, “Very soon the congress leaders will quit the party and lock the Congress office. The Congress party is involved in sand and land mafia. Most of the congress leaders are involved in corruption and in the last four years, the entire state has been looted by them. When Yeddyurappa was the Chief minister he had sanctioned funds for the development of the district. But the Congress leaders are thinking only of their own benefit. The IT department had raided residences of congress leaders and recovered crores of Rupees and gold from their possession but Chief minister Siddaramaiah did not take any action against those involved in corruption nor has he demanded their resignation because he himself has taken commission from the contractor of the Steel bridge and Yettinahole project, this is what the media says and not MP Nalin! For all the tenders, ministers ask for the commission. The congress leaders have taken commission from all the land, air and water projects. The BJP will expose all the corruption of the Congress and bring awareness to the people so that the people will decide their fate in the coming elections”.
MP Nalin also said, “The government has failed to provide protection and people are fed up with congress government. The BJP warns the Congress to drop all the ministers who are involved in corruption. If the CM will not take action against the corrupt ministers, the congress government will not last long,” he warned.
Former minister Nagaraj Shetty, Former MLA Yogish Bhat, Sulochana Bhat, Anwar Manippadi and Monappa Bhandary also spoke on the occasion.
