‘Sindhu Ratna’ Rtn Muralidhar Ramani elected President of SFOSI
Mangaluru: Vidaiyu Taava! – that’s “Congratulations” in Sindhi language – and Team Mangalorean congratulates wishes Rtn Murlidhar Ramani all success in his new post as the President of Sindhi Federation of South India (SFOSI).
Rtn Murlidhar Ramani, a well-established and successful entrepreneur of Mangaluru has been elected unanimously as the President of the Sindhi Federation of South India (SFOSI) at its recently concluded AGM at the port town of Vishakapatnam. He has the distinction of having served as the President of the Kanara Chamber of Commerce, Mangaluru.
Murlidhar Ramani belongs to the industrious Sindhi community, of which there are nearly seven families in Mangaluru. He has been recognized by the Sindhi Federation for his meritorious service to the community as “Sindhu Ratna”, being the highest award of the community. The Sindhi Federation of South India (SFOSI) which has been in existence for 28 years, is an organisation that brings together the Sindhi Community in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala and Karnataka with Goa having included this year.
The objectives of the SFOSI is to promote the Sindhi language, help the deserving and the meritorious in the community by way of scholarships. In addition succour is provided to the poor and needy wherever required in South India.
