SIT takes Two more from Padubidiri into Custody in Gauri Lankesh Murder Case
Udupi: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the murder of editor-activist Gauri Lankesh, on Thursday, took into custody two more youth from Padubidiri for interrogation.
The youth are identified as Sandesh Shetty a resident of Padebettu and Yuvaraj (32) resident of Kanchinadaka Paudubidri.
Both were active members of the Hindu Jagarana Samithi Padubidiri and Kaup Units. The SIT police arrived on Thursday morning to Padubidri and with help of Padubidri Police took both of them into custody. Sources said that both of them had close connection with the prime accused. Sandesh Shetty and Yuvaraj have been taken to Bengaluru by the SIT team for Investigation.
Journalist and activist Gauri Lankesh was killed outside her house in Bengaluru in September 2017.
