SKPA Udupi zone bids farewell to SP K Annamalai

Udupi: The members of the South Canara Photographers Association Udupi Zone bid farewell to Superintendent of Police K Annamalai, who has been transferred to Chikkamagaluru following his one-and-a-half-year tenure in Udupi on July 30.

According to the press release, Office bearers of SKPA felicitated Annamalai with a garland, shawl and memento and wished him the very best in his future endeavours at a simple ceremony at the district police office.

Annamalai’s his two-year term saw a marked improvement in policing in the Udupi district. They credited him with strengthening policing by the use of technology and several people-friendly measures.

Zonal President Vaman Padukere, Astro Mohan, Janardhan Kodavoor, Jayakar Suvarna, Santhosh Korangrapadi, Manjunath Devadiga, Sukumar Kukkikatte, Sundar Poojary, Prakash Kodankoor and Sebastian Anchan were present.
