Light a lantern of hope, Shine a lantern of life, Fly a lantern of love. Be an angel, light up the night!
Sky lanterns fest- 2018 purpose is to create awareness making firecrackers & also to address the cause of air pollution caused by bursting firecrackers. Sky Lanterns are made of non-flammable, biodegradable material.
In today’s world when we are so concern about our environment and when people burn firecrackers, people are curious about lots of fun but sometimes forget about the conditions they leave behind once all the fun is over: the debris from the expended firecrackers and their ecological impact.
When the firecrackers return to the ground, animals can try to eat them and get seriously injured from them. Much of the concern centers on livestock which can actually die from ingesting the remains of firecrackers. Other concerns surround the environmental impact of the waste left on the ground, introduces dangerous substances into the environment. To help alleviate the impact of crackers to the environment and to animals, now there is a new way to it ie sky lantern that are earth friendly.
Eco sky lanterns are the solution to the destructive problems that linger long after the celebration is over. Eco sky lanterns are biodegradable, meaning that their ecological footprint is minimal. This is the environmentally friendly product which is also the alternative to fireworks.
By flying eco sky lanterns, people can still enjoy their beauty without having the guilt or harming animals and the environment on their conscience.
Sky Lanterns are made of 100% biodegradable Fire-Retardant paper which results in zero fire hazards. Natural dyes from vegetables and fruits, etc. are used for colored lanterns. The Fuel Cell is a combination of paper, cloth, and wax. All these three elements are biodegradable on their own and leave an almost zero carbon footprint when lit.

I really like this idea and I fully support it. At the same time, it is hard not to notice the hypocrisy of those who never lift a finger when it comes to animal abuse during Eid festival.
Sky lantern. Is it the same as Goodu deepa?
Just curious.
I endorse the anguish expressed by Original Pai. Ban slaughter of cow lamb goat chicken. If they still want it, try fish which is far superior.
PS: Ragi mudde too.Ask Kumaranna or Dodda Gowdru.
