Solution to Maintain Social Distance by Entrepreneur Gilbert D’Souza

Mangaluru: Here is the plan of action to streamline crowds at the shopping centres to avoid the spreading of Coronavirus. Consider the shops operate from 8 A.M. to 6 P.M.

BY USING THE LAST TWO DIGITS OF VOTER I.D. (Red color figures are the last two digits) People should come for shopping once a week at the time allotted to them as per the last two numbers on their voter I.D

People should be informed to buy groceries On Saturdays and Sundays only they are in urgent need.

1) When we adopt the above method the people coming to shops at any given time will be reduced from 100% to 2%. Out of this 2%, all will not come to purchase the goods hence there will not rush at the shops at any time

2) People will be disbursed by the shop keepers without much time. Customers also need not wait at the shop in line.

3) It will be very easy for the shop keepers to entertain customers without any tension.

4) This procedure can be adopted not only in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts but also throughout India and around the world.

5) It will have a tremendous impact on stopping of spreading the Virus by person to person contacts.

6) Police need not struggle to disburse the crowd as they are doing now. They can randomly check the number of Voters I.D. to see that the people do not violate the procedure.

7) The need for total Bandh or Curfew will not arise.

Thank you Mr. Gilbert D’Souza for your suggestion to further complicate an already complicated situation we all are in. Good suggestion. Look forward to more such from you and many others. I’m sure the authorities will adopt your suggestion, considering that they want to show that they are busy bees who are actually doing nothing to find a solution.
