Sony announces digital initiatives for Euro 2016
Mumbai, June 7 (IANS) The official broadcasters of Euro 2016 Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) announced on Tuesday extensive digital initiatives to improve the experience of users watching the football tournament on their digital platform Sony LIV.
Their digital campaign for Euro is an extension of their on-air Time to Switch campaign, where SPN has created a personalised on-brand user experience for digital consumers to engage them before, during and after the matches throughout the tournament.
The whole platform has been built to provide a very unique “real-time experience” led by data science, a SPN release said.
The “real-time experiences” include live text commentary, statistics meter, ball position tracker, momentum meter, probability meter etc.
The tournament will commence on June 10 and will be telecast on Sony Six and Sony ESPN channels at prime time slots of 6:30 pm, 9:30 pm and 12:30 am (Indian Standard Time).
