South Anti-rowdy Squad Seize Illegal Sand Laden Tippers
Mangaluru: The police from the South Sub-division Anti-rowdy squad seized sand-laden tippers at the Padil Junction on September 21.
According to the police, the police from the Anti-rowdy Squad while checking vehicles at the Padil Junction and Pumpwell National Highway found tippers transporting sand illegally.
The police seized the tippers along with the sand all worth Rs 50 lakh and handed them over to the Mines and Geology department for further action.
Under the direction of Police commissioner T R Suresh and DCP Crime and Traffic Uma Prashanth and under the guidance of ACP Ram Rao the operation was carried out by the police from the South Sub-division Anti-rowdy squad.
