SP Dr Sanjeev Patil to launch weekly phone-in programme on August 19
Udupi: The new superintendent of Police Udupi district Dr Sanjeev Patil will be hearing the grievances of people over the phone between 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
The first of its kind in the district, the Phone-in programme will be launched on Saturday, August 19.
People having grievances on traffic movement, the sale of drugs and other issues affecting them can be raised during the programme. People can call 0820-253477.
Dr Sanjeev Patil said that people can call on any issues affecting the public. People can provide information on illegal activities to the SP.
People should also provide information and help police in maintaining the law and order in the city. The phone-in facility was among the measures that the police are taking to be in touch with people.
