SP Lokayukta Ravikumar and Driver Kiran Killed in Road Mishap in Mysuru
Mysuru: SP of Lokayukta and his driver Kiran (CAR Mysuru) were killed in a tragic road accident near Raja Rajeshwari Dental college Kumbalgodu Police station limits here on February 22.
The deceased have been identified as Ravikumar, SP of Lokayukta Mysuru and driver Kiran.
According to primary reports, On February 22, at around 7:45 pm, SP Ravikumar was travelling to Mysuru in a swift car. Near Raja Rajeshwari Dental college Kumbalgodu a ten-wheeler truck coming from the opposite direction collided head-on with the Swift car. Both Ravikumar and Kiran died on the spot.
SP Ravikumar served as ACP in Panambur, Mangaluru and was promoted as SP of Lokayukta Mysuru. When he was the ACP of Panambur, he worked with integrity and dedication. The police department has lost an honest and energetic police officer.
For his dedication and honesty, he was promoted as SP for the Lokayukta in Mysuru. It is learnt that Ravikumar’s wife had delivered just a week ago.
Mysuru police are investigating the case.
