SP Sudheer Reddy’s Timely Action Releases Innocent Youth in Kalladka Stabbing Case
Bantwal: The youth who was arrested in the Kalladka stabbing case was released by the Bantwal police on December 27.
On December 26, the accused in Karopadi Jalil murder case Keshav was stabbed in Kalladka and the Bantwal town police had taken Khalil into custody for investigation.
During the investigation, it was proved that Khalil was not present at the spot during the time of the incident.
SP Sudheer Reddy clarified that during investigations the police did not get any evidence of Khalil’s involvement in the stabbing incident. Khalil’s location was identified at the time of the incident and he was not present in Kallakda.
Kalil was released under 169 CrPC.
As soon as the stabbing case was reported SP Sudheer rushed to Kalladka and informed the Bantwal police to take all necessary measures to maintain the law and order situation. False rumours were also spread on WhatsApp carrying a fake photograph of the incident. But SP Sudheer Reddy managed everything meticulously giving all necessary information to the media.
He also formed various teams to arrest the culprits in the stabbing incident and within 12 hours a person was taken into custody. During the investigations, Khalil was found innocent and released.
