Speeding car kills 65-year-old two-wheeler rider in Padubidiri
Udupi: A two-wheeler rider died in a collision between a two-wheeler rider and an Innova car on the Karkala – Padubidri State Highway on Monday, December 10.
The deceased has been identified as Shivanna Shetty (65) a resident of Padubidri Adve.
According to the police, the Innova car on its way to Karkala hit the two-wheeler from behind. In the collision, the two-wheeler rider suffered serious head injuries. Injured Shivanna was rushed to the hospital but he breathed his last on the way.
A case has been registered in the Padubidri Police Station.
