Spoorthi Dhama Secretary Keshav Koteshwar booked under POCSO Act
Udupi: The secretary of Spoorthi Dhama, Keshav Koteshwar was booked under POCSO act on charges of sexually harassing girls in his organisation by the Udupi Women police March 14.
According to sources, a girl from Spoorthi Dhama had gone missing on March 11. Later on the same day, she was found in Sastan suffering from health issues.
The locals after questioning her handed her over to the Kota Police. While questioning, the girl alleged that Keshav Koteshwar has been harassing the girls at Spoorthi Dhama. Based on the statement of the girl, the women police visited Spoorthi Dhama and took 6 girls along with them for questioning.
As per the statement given by the girls, on March 13 late night, the police took Keshav Koteshwar and Hanumantha into their custody.
Police Sources said that Keshav Koteswhar was sexually harassing the girls, he has now been booked under the POCSO Act.
