Bengaluru: On December 15th, the Dhyana Jyothi Trust, in collaboration with the Helping Hand Trust, brought warmth and joy to the holiday season with a remarkable Christmas celebration tailored for physically and visually challenged families across Karnataka. Held at the Holy Ghost Church Parish Hall in Frazer Town, Bengaluru, the event commenced at 11 a.m., drawing a diverse group of individuals together to commemorate the themes of love, unity, and the season’s blessings.
The celebration was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, with Mr. Das Suryavamshi, Commissioner of the Karnataka State Disabled Commission, serving as the chief guest. He was accompanied by notable figures including Fr. Ivan D’Souza OCD, Trustee of Dhyana Jyothi Trust; Fr. Prakash D’Cunha from Helping Hand Trust; Mrs. Princy David, Administrator of Holy Ghost Parish Hall; and Mr. Maxim Fernandes, the recently awarded Senior Achiever in the HR Sector for 2024. Also in attendance were Mrs. Priya Colin, Founder of the Disciples of Christ Community; Mr. Ranjendra, former corporator of Pulakeshi Nagar; and Mr. Silvian Noronha, former President of FKCA among others, all of whom contributed to the event’s uplifting ambiance.

Gifts distributed to both children and adults served to amplify the spirit of giving, while the dazzling appearance of two Santa Clauses sparked delight, prompting children to dance joyously alongside them, with prizes awarded to the most enthusiastic dancers.
