St Aloysius Gonzaga School holds Jyothi Pradhan for Class X
Mangaluru: St. Aloysius Gonzaga School held JyothiPradhan for the outgoing students of Class-X on February 25th at the Gonzaga Hall. The day began with a meaningful prayer service led by the staff members. Rector of St. Aloysius Rev Fr Dionysius Vas was the chief guest of the program and motivated the students to achieve great things saying that they need to choose what they love most and do the things that they are best at and pursue what they are passionate about. He also wished them well in their future endeavours. Principal Fr Melwyn Anil Lobo, addressed the students and said that they need to be grateful to their past especially to their teachers and the institution, to make best use of the present opportunities particularly preparing themselves for the upcoming board examination and face the future with hope and courage to carve a unique path to themselves.
The Parent representative Blazius D’souza, parent of Sweedal Bonita D’souza, shared his experience and expressed gratitude towards the management. To cherish the memories of the past, a power point presentation titled “Memories down the Lane” was presented by Ms Deepthi Karkada and Ms Shwetha. The staff members wished the students adieu by singing a melodious farewell song. The mementoes were presented to the students. As a mark of gratitude, the students of class X along with the class teachers gifted coolers to the school.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Ms Jisha V Thomas and the programme was compered by the Vice Principal Ms Jacintha Dcosta.
