St Aloysius Gonzaga School-Primary Section celebrates 7th Annual Day in Gaiety
Mangaluru : One of the most anxiously awaited occasions in any school is its “Annual Day”. The 7th Annual Day of St Aloysius Gonzaga School was celebrated on December 14, 2018 with great zest, vibrancy and elation portraying the theme ‘EXCELLENCE THROUGH SERVICE’. The programme commenced by invoking the blessings of the Lord Almighty followed by welcome dance.Master Daniel Luke Aranha of class IV welcomed the gathering. Our tiny tots of KG-I and KG – II gave a mesmerizing performance that held the attention of our audience.
The Annual Report of the school was presented by our beloved Principal Mrs Grace Noronha through a video presentation, highlighting the school’s achievements in scholastic and co-scholastic arenas. The head boy, Chinmay Sachidanda introduced the Chief Guest. While addressing the parents the Chief Guest , Dr Sarfraz J Hashim, a renowned mind trainer shared his views on good parenting and urged the parents to create a positive and pleasant environment at home by giving them CASH (Confidence, Appreciation, Sincerity, and Hard work) instead of money.
The thematic show of talent, imagination and organization was the essence of the programme which was presented meticulously by students from Class I to V. The stage took on hues enhancing the mood of every emotion. The entire Primary section participated wholeheartedly towards the success of this grand event. There was festive atmosphere all around and parents were visibly excited to watch their children’s performance.
The Manager Fr. Melwin Mendonca SJ delivered the presidential address appreciating the fabulous programme on the theme “Excellence through service” and opined that the activities of our school will help them to become compassionate leaders of future.
The programme was compered by Aditi of class V and Joel Abhilash of class IV. The vote of thanks was proposed by the Head girl, Shinaed Fernandes of class V. Mrs Aparna Suresh and Mrs Anjana Kamath were the convenors of the programme. It was indeed a spectacular display of talent and fervour. The programme culminated with the school anthem
