St Aloysius Higher Primary School-Kodialbail-Mangaluru Students “Happy To Be Back” at School. “The purpose of education is to replace our empty minds with an open one.”!

Mangaluru: St Aloysius College Higher Primary School-Kodialbail/Karangalpady-Mangaluru welcomed the students on 28th May 2018 for the New academic year. We had a special assembly conducted by the teachers Mrs. Jositta Noronha and Mrs. Blanch D Almeida in order to welcome the students after long and rejuvenating summer break for classes I- VII.

The programme began with the inter religious prayer. Rev Fr. Eric Mathias, the correspondent addressed the gathering and mentioned about the 450th Jubilee year of St Aloysius Gonzaga, the Patron Saint of our school. He spoke about the seven values ie. Patience, passion, optimism, confidence, compassion, creativity and collaboration. He motivated the students for happy, prosperous and successful year ahead. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.

The classrooms were decorated well in advance with posters, charts, ribbons and balloons. The students came in enthusiastically and were happy to see the well-decorated classrooms. It was a wonderful beginning and a memorable day not only for the students as they stepped into yet another academic year of schooling but also for the teachers.

After such an energetic and enthusiastic beginning the school hopes to have a fruitful year ahead. The correspondent Rev Fr Eric Mathias, Headmistress Mrs Philomena Lewis, the Vice President of the PTA Mrs Rekha Fernandes were present for the programme
