St Aloysius PU College Outshines with 98.51%!
Mangaluru: St Aloysius PU College campus was filled with cheer when the results of II PU Board Exam 2018 results were announced by the PU Board. The college has secured overall 98.51% results. Out of 1749 students who appeared for the board exam 1723 students have cleared the exam. All the three streams have performed exceptionally well with 98.99% in Science, 98.01% in Commerce and 96.08% in Arts.
Among the toppers, Ms Neha KM and Sandria Ann D’Souza have scored the highest marks in Science with 588 respectively; in Commerce Mandara P Shetty also scored 588, and in Arts- Ms Madhupreetha Nayak has scored 565. To add to the list the college has secured 414 distinctions. The college applauds the efforts of the students. The Principal of the College, Fr Melwin Mendonca SJ congratulated the students and expressed his joy over the excellent results achieved.
Physically Challenged Arjun Adyanthaya also Scored 79%!
With Determination and Strong Will, Physically Challenged St Aloysius Pre-University Lad Arjun Adyanthaya who wrote his II PU Board Exam at Canara PU College-Mangaluru has come out in flying colours, scoring overall 79% {388 marks out of 500} .Arjun suffers from osteogenesis imperfecta (OI), a rare genetic disorder that results in fragile bones.
