St Aloysius PU Science Block Inaugurated
Mangaluru: The Inauguration of the Third floor of the New Science Block of St Aloysius PU College was held on Saturday, 3 June 2017 with a Prayer Service Led by Fr Ravi Santhosh Kamath SJ followed with the Blessing by the Rector, Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ and Fr Ravi Santhosh Kamath SJ. Fr Denzil Lobo SJ, the former Rector of St Aloysius Institutions formally Inaugurated with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
The Principal of St Aloysius PU College Fr Melwin Mendonca Sj welcomed the gathered and expressed his gratefulness for the cooperation rendered by everyone for making a miracle happen in a span of three months, which is uncommon to witness. The Rector of St Aloysius Institutions, Fr Dionysius Vas SJ appreciated the collective efforts resulting in perfection and claimed that the Science Block is a souvenir to all to be utilized it efficiently for the betterment of future. The Benefactors, Alumni and the well wishers were thanked for their contribution.
Fr Leo D’Souza SJ, graced the occasion along with other Jesuit Priests. The architect, contractor and others were felicitated during the programme. Reena Monteiro compered the programme and Bhavani MP delivered the vote of thanks.
Very very pleased to read that Rev. Fr. Santosh is now actively involved in the Science related Educational activity at St. Aloysius College, Light House Hill. Fr. Santosh is a very intellectual individual, and his contribution in any kind of Social, Religious, Educational and even philanthropic will be very valuable and beneficial. The discipline of Science in the Educational curriculum of India is as important as the discipline of Mathematics, History and Geography.
