St Rita ward overall champions in ICYM Cascia ‘Thalenthacho Pavs – Season 2’
Mangaluru: ICYM Cascia unit organized Thalenthacho Pavs – Season 2 Finale, Series of inter-ward variety competitions held at the St Rita Church Hall, Cascia from 6:00 pm onwards.
The programme commenced with a prayer song. Fr Harold Mascarenhas – Parish Priest presided over the programme. Fr Rupesh Madtha – Resident Priest inaugurated the event. Fr Harold Mascarenhas and Fr Rupesh Madtha wished all the participants good luck. Jossy Theodore – Vice President, Cascia Parish Pastoral Council, Viyolla D’Silva, Jeppu – President and Sonali Rodrigues, Bejai – Vice President, ICYM Episcopal City Deanery, Mangalore were present for the programme.
5 wards took an active part in the competition. Melroy Furtado and Calvia Louis were the judges for the evening. The event concluded by distributing the prizes of the previous events and the overall championship and runners-up trophy. St. Rita ward bagged the overall championship trophy while St Paul ward bagged the Runners-up trophy. The parishioners witnessed another successful event organized by ICYM members. Sushma D’Souza and Vishma D’cunha welcomed the gathering and compered the programme. Rollen Cutinha – President, ICYM Cascia Unit delivered the vote of thanks.
