Mangaluru: Youth JD(S) staged a protest regarding the II-PUC Chemistry re-exams in front of the DC office here, on April 1.
Addressing the protesters, JD(S) District President, Mohammed Kunhi voiced his displeasure towards the careless attitude of the State Government and the PU Board in this regard.
Secretary of JD(S), S P Chengappa said, “The state government is playing with the future of the students. Many KAS aspirants are still awaiting results of KPSC exams which were held in September last year. The condition of the State Government is such that our NHRC has no chairman and there is no Lokayukta as well.”
He further said, “The Mann Ki Baat of the central government is nothing but Dhann Ki Baat. The suicide of farmers was not enough, now Chief Minister Siddaramaiah wants the students of Karnataka to commit suicide as well. But the students need not worry as JD(S) is always with them.”
A memorandum was submitted to the DC through ADC Kumar. Youth JD(S) leader, Akshith Suvarna also spoke on this occasion.
