Student Leaders Should be Elected & Not Selected! Inauguration of D K ACSU District on Sat

 With a Aim that College Student Leaders Should be Elected & Not Selected- Inauguration of Dakshina Kannada All College Students Union on Saturday, 5 October at St Sebastian Hall, Bendore, Mangaluru at 11 am.

Mangaluru : Addressing the media persons during a press meet held at Mangaluru Press Club, Roopesh Shetty, NSUI State General Secretary said, “The 2019-20 Dakshina Kannada All College Students Union will be inaugurated on Saturday, 5 October 2019 at 11 am at St Sebastian Hall, Bendore-Mangaluru. The launching will be done by Youth Congress leader Mithun Rai, along with other Congress leaders, namely- Harish Kumar, Ramanath Rai, U T Khader, Ivan D’souza, J R Lobo, Praveen Chandra Alva, among others”.

Also speaking on the occasion, Co-ordinator Suhan Alva said, “Our aim is to fight for students voting rights and that college student leaders should elected and not selected as per the present situation. Also during the inauguration of DK All College Students Union, Tulu film actor Roopesh Shetty will be a guest star, and deliver the key note address. We request the students to attend this programme in large numbers and make it a success, with your unstinted support”.

Suman Shetty (co-ordinator), Primus D’souza (Vice President DK ACSU 2018-19) and Nithesh Shetty ( President, DK ACSU 2018-19) were present during the press meet.
