Students of MGC School engage in Swachatha Abhiyan

Mangaluru: The Dream of creating a clear green society lies in the hands of the children who are the pillars of the nation. We all have an obligation as citizens of this Earth to leave the world a healthier, cleaner and better place for our children and future generation.

The beauty of this thought was brought to life by the Mahatma Gandhi Centenary School, Bondel road-Mangaluru students who put their thoughts into actions. The cubs, Bul Buls, Scouts and Guides took the initiative of cleaning the surroundings in and around Bondel. On this occasion Krishnappa, Environmentalist enclosed the students to join hands in this mission of cleanliness. The sheer passion of the students was exhibited with attractive elegance which was also an awareness for the people.

M.G.C. High school Principal Sr Sangeetha was present on this occasion guides captain Mrs. Bhavya, Ms. Ranjitha, Bul Bul Captain Mrs. Rekha, Cub Master Mrs. Latha, 150 Scouts, Guides Cubs and Bul Buls participated in this Swachatha Abhiyan. In charge Santhosh shouldered the responsibility of the programme and organized the Abhiyan.
