Sudharma Ratha publicity vehicle launched, over 1 lakh people expected for Hindu Samajothsava

Udupi: For those who were criticizing the Hindu religion, we should get ready to give a strong answer through Dharma Sansad which will be held here from November 24 to 26 at said Vishwa Hindu Parishath regional working president Prof. M B Puranik.

He was speaking after inaugurating the Sudharma Ratha a publicity vehicle of the Dharma Sansad on Wednesday, October 25 in Udupi.

Now time has come to bring a change in the Political and social sector of India. By attending in huge numbers Hindus should show our Unity to the nation. Today many anti-elements are trying to devide our society in the name of Caste and religion. We should not let them succeed in their attempts, we should get united. More than one lakh people are expected for the Hindu Samajothsava programme on November 26. All the arrangements for the Samajotsava and Dharma Sansad are in place.

Arrangements for more than 2500 saints coming from all over the country issues being made. Many of the temple authorities, guest houses etc have agreed to accommodate the saints coming for the 3 day programme.
Other issues which would be discussed include dealing with casteism in the Hindu community, removal of untouchability, stopping conversion and promotion cow protection, he added.

Advocate Praveen Poojary flagged off the Publicity Vehicle and wished all success for the Dharma Sansad.

The Publicity vehicle ‘Sudharma Ratha’ will move across the district from October 25 to November 24. The route map of the ‘Sudharma Ratha’ is October 26 to 28 Byndoor Taluk, October 29 – November 1 Kundapur Taluk, November 2 -3 Brahmavara Taluk, November 4 to 8 Karkala Taluk, November 9 to 10 Kaup Taluk, November 11 to 13 Udupi Rural area and November 14 to 24 Udupi city area.

VHP district President Vilas Nayak, BD district convener Dinesh Mendon VHP regional secretary Krishnamoorthy, Udupi City VHP president Santhosh Suvarna Udyavar and others were present.

BD Mangaluru division convener Sunil K R welcomed the gathering, Bhaghyashree Aithal compeered the programme, VHP district secretary Rathankar Ameen delivered the vote of thanks.

You can tell – Election season is approaching real soon! As a non-religious guy, I find these developments very concerning. I wonder what if the same people could direct their time and energy towards something more productive like ‘shrama daana’ to clean cities or build broken infrastructure. At the same time, I am also aware of ‘why’ these things are happening. The relentless propaganda by pseudo-secular groups ever since independence has pushed Hindu community to stand up and strike back.
