Sudheer Kumar Reddy New SP of DK, Bhushan Borase Transferred to Bengaluru as DCP
Mangaluru: The SP of Dakshina Kannada Bhushan G Borase IPS has been transferred on June 21. SP Bhushan Borase has been transferred with immediate effect and posted until further orders as Deputy Commissioner of Police Administration Bengaluru City.
On Sunday the district minister in-charge had called SP Bhushan to the Inspection Bungalow and advised to arrest Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat for delivering inciting speeches. The leaked video of the conversation between the District Minister In-charge and the SP had gone viral in the social media. The opposition staged several protests and warned to holding a protest in Bantwal. On June 21, SDPI leader Ashraf was murdered in Benjanpadav.
Following a series of incidents, the state government passed the order of the transfer on June 21 and posted SP of Mandya C H Sudheer Kumar Reddy as the new SP of Dakshina Kannada. C H Sudheer Kumar Reddy is a B Tech graduate from Pondicherry Engineering College and is a native of Narsaraopet in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh.
He has earlier served as Additional Superintendent of Police at the communally sensitive Bhatkal, and later as Superintendent of Police in the Criminal Investigation Department (Cyber Crime) Bidar.
