Sunil, Ravish, Uday, Chandrashekar and Sundar Chosen for CM’s Medal 2017
Mangaluru: Five police from Dakshina Kannada have been chosen for the Chief Minister’s medal for the year 2017, for their distinguished service.
DCIB Inspector Sunil Y Naik, Urwa Police Inspector Ravish S Nayak, CCB Head constable N A Chandrashekhar, Ullal Sub Inspector M Sundar and Bantwal Civil Head Constable Uday Rai have been chosen for the CM’s Medal.
Due to elections and the model code of conduct being in force, there was a delay in announcing the names of the medal winners. Normally the medals are given on April 2 during the Police Flag Day ceremony but was delayed for five months.
The date of the award ceremony will be announced later.
