Suo Moto Case Filed against Hindu Outfits for Holding Campaign against Love Jihad without permission
Udupi: The activists of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal and Durga Vahini on Tuesday, January 23 were booked for holding awareness campaign against Love Jihad without permission.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal and Durga Vahini organised a campaign to create awareness about Love Jihad on Monday, January 22 in front of the MGM College Udupi.
A Suo moto complaint was filed by Narayana ASI Udupi Town Station against Vilas Nayak president VHP Udupi district, Sunil K R Zonal convener Bajrang Dal, Dinesh Mendon Dist Convener BD, Santhosh Suvarna VHP city president, Dinesh Shetty Hebri of BD, Padma Rathnakar of Durga Vahini, Bhagyashree Aithal of Durga Vahini, Lokesh Shettigar of BD and others. The complaint stated that the accused had gathered illegally without any permission and blocked the National Highway 169A creating problems for the passengers and other road users, it is said.
The investigation is on at the Udupi Town Station.
