Take over of Karavali Utsav ground reserved for other uses by unknown persons
Mangaluru: When the Mangala stadium was covered with a special track the access to this ground was denied to all except athletes recognised by the department of youth affairs, the ground on which Karavali Utsav was taking place was divided into two one-half of which was reserved for sports, walkers and for those who wanted to play games. This was fenced off too.
Now the fencing has been cut down and the same is being used for parking vehicles of visitors to Karavali Utsav after collecting parking charges which are unauthorised and illegal. How could permission be given for this? If permission was not given the fees collected are illegal and must be confiscated by the corporation authorities and a fine imposed on those doing it.

Dear Sir,
I wish to bring to your kind attention that the Karavali Utsav grounds near the corporation office were divided into two portions and separated by a partition- one part of which was reserved for athletes, walkers and in general for sports.
Now I see that the fence has been cut down and the ground reserved for these activities being used for parking by collecting fees from those coming to visit Karavali Utsav. I do not know who has given them the authority to do it and why it was given if it is so.
This causes problems for those who want to use this ground for exercise and recreation. I request you to take action and see that this is stopped immediately.
Since the parking charges are being collected unauthorisedly you may confiscate the same and add it to the general funds of the city corporation where it rightly belongs.
I am herein attaching photos taken on the 26th evening to prove my complaint.
