Talk and Presentation on Tulu & Sanskrit Keyboards by Dr BVK Sastry at Sahyadri College : Indic Keyboard “K-naada” for transforming India to Shreshta Bharat by Dr BVK Sastry
Mangalore: Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, Mangaluru organizing a talk on Indic Keyboard “K-naada” for transforming India to Shreshta Bharat by Dr BVK Sastry, Founder and Chancellor, Yoga-Samskrutam University, Florida, USA on Wednesday, 7th march 2018, at 11:00am, The talk will be followed by a presentation on Language Appropriate Keyboard for TULU & SANSKRIT for Education and Technology. The keyboard is an innovative product developed by Dr Sastry for which he holds US and Indian Patent. This tool is useful especially for those who do not know English language.
This program is organized by the Department of Humanities and coordinated by Dr S Ramakrishna Sharma, Adjunct Professor of Indian Scientific Heritage. All are welcome to this program. Information regarding registration under the above University for PhD program in Vedic Sciences will be available. Those who want to explore commercial distribution of the product may contact Dr Sastry after the session. Students desirous of pursuing studies abroad also can attend the session.

Dr. BVK Sastry (Venkatakrishna Sastry) is the visionary – founder of Yoga Samskrutham University, at Florida, USA. The University commenced its operations on 27 Sept 2011. Dr. Sastry holds a Ph.D in Sanskrit, a graduation in sciences, management and business practices. He is trained traditionally in several disciplines of Vedic Studies — theory and practice of Vedas, Vedangajyotisha, Vastu, Vedic Rituals and Temple Services.
-Served for 12 years as a resident professor at American University, teaching Hinduism, Yoga and Sanskrit teaching several students,

Dr Sastry has developed TWO KEYBOARDS which are multilingual. They have Kannada, Tulu and Sanskrit language capabilities. These do not require knowledge of English language as the Keys are designed in the relevant language ALPHABETS or AKSHARAMALA
