Taylor Swift controlled the media: Calvin Harris
Edinburgh, June 24 (IANS) Scottish DJ Calvin Harris has opened up about his split with Taylor Swift, saying that the famous singer “controlled the media” following their break-up.
According to fan screenshots taken of now-deleted comments made from his account, Harris replied to a number of Instagram users who asked him about the pair’s split and Swift’s new romance with British actor Tom Hiddleston.
Responding to a fan’s comment, who said that the DJ should have told his side of the story following their split, Harris claimed that Swift “controlled the media and this situation”, reports mirror.co.uk.
“I had no idea what was going on. So that kind of makes it a lot worse from my perspective,” he added.
Denying that he is bothered by Swift and Hiddleston’s romance, he is believed to have written: “Not jealous sir, free”, in reply to a fan who claimed he was “jealous of Taylor now because she’s moved on and found a new boyfriend”.
Harris and Swift broke up earlier this month, and just weeks after their split, the 26-year-old was caught kissing, holding hands and taking some selfies with Hiddleston on the beach in Watch Hill, Rhode Island.
